ABOUT

Dr. Monica Ariyo, DNP, PMHNP-BC specializes in providing mental health services to children, teens, and adults in Ewing and Freehold, New Jersey.

Dr. Monica Ariyo, DNP, PMHNP-BC believes that a multidisciplinary, empathic approach to care can improve the lives of patients. She takes the time to get to know clients, understand their challenges, and collaboratively craft a path forward that recognizes their areas of need, their individual strengths, and where they want to be.

Dr. Monica Ariyo is a professional mental health care provider who goes above and beyond to provide the right level of support to her clients. She believes that enhancing the quality of psychiatric leadership can create greater patient outcomes, reduce patient fatigue, and improve the field of psychiatry overall by focusing on the wellbeing and training of those providing care.

She has worked with clients and patients in a variety of complex mental health cases, from teens with substance-use disorders to adults with antisocial personality disorders. While each case is unique, she believes that empathy, experience, expertise, and the right care plan can transform lives and puts that belief into practice each day.

Dr. Monica Ariyo, DNP, PMHNP-BC began her career specializing in chronic pain management, geriatric nursing, and teenage pregnancy. In her work with teen mothers, she helped teach young girls about teenage pregnancy issues from financial challenges to health and social concerns. Her goal was to help those she worked with become strong, confident young women. This experience helped to shape Dr. Monica Ariyo and gave her the drive to be the professional mental health care provider whose dedication is evident in each interaction she has with a client, regardless of the circumstances that bring them to the office.

When she’s not providing care to her clients, Dr. Monica Ariyo loves spending time with her family and traveling. Some of her favorite places to visit are Dubai, The Caribbean, England, Italy, France, and Africa. She’s driven to elevate her field and to use her personal gifts, education, and experience to transform the lives of those around her.
