What types of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards.
What’s your cancellation policy?
We understand that life doesn’t happen in a bubble and that emergencies happen. However, if you do not notify us 24 hours before missing a session, you will be billed for the full cost of that session.
Do you take my insurance?

Do you work with children?
Yes! Our mental health services address the needs of children, teens, and adults. We can support children and their families in addressing a host of challenges including (but certainly not limited to) oppositional defiant disorder, self-harm behaviors, trauma-related disorders, attention deficit disorders, and eating disorders.
I’ve never been to a psychiatrist before. What can I expect?
The experience is unique for each person. However, all sessions with Dr. Monica Ariyo are tailored to meet your unique needs and goals.
You can expect that your first appointment will help Dr. Monica Ariyo to get to know you and your reasons for booking the session. During this appointment, you’ll learn more about how you’ll collaborate and begin to explore what it may be like to address your challenges with empathy, support, a listening ear, and someone in your corner to help you navigate life in a way that gets you where you want to be.
I’m experiencing a crisis right now. Should I book an appointment?
If you are in crisis right now, do not book a session or use our contact form. Seek help immediately.

If you are not able or do not desire to talk, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
I don’t know if I have a severe disorder or need medication but I am having some trouble in a specific area or many areas of my life. Should I go to a psychiatrist?
Psychiatric care are not just for those with severe mental health disorders.
These types of supportive elements can help you to stay mentally healthy, improve your well-being, and thrive in areas where you might feel less than your best.
